Pros
There are so many seriously talented, hardworking folks here. Teams perform at a consistently high level even in the hardest of times, and can pivot on a dime with grace - which is required of them frequently. The people (most of) are the best part of the company and I'll carry these relationships beyond AG. Comp is very competitive and benefits are really great compared to other companies I've worked for. The product, although subject to a lot of criticism, is genuinely a good product and lots of people feel the benefits and differences in their health because of it.
Cons
I've never experienced burnout anywhere else like I have at AG. Entire team layoffs, rehiring of new roles and new teams, reorg-ing those teams, and then more layoffs has become the norm. Teams are running on fumes, and for what? A high likelihood of their role being eliminated next week only to be replaced by another person and role that could've easily been absorbed by a current employee? Folks are so tired and beaten down by the complete lack of psychological safety there. It's really sad to see such positive, scrappy, high-growth teammates be totally worn out by the hire/fire/reorg system that exists. On the surface, this may look like a strong company to join, and in many regards it is. But I promise you that period is short-lived. Save yourself the stress, burnout, and disappointment.
