Pros
• The Graduate scheme has allowed me to spend time in different departments which resulted in learning about the structure of the company from different perspectives and gaining lots of knowledge. Everything learned in each department later became useful in the following placement. • Opportunity to be very hands on and involved, such as researching and contracting new suppliers and writing copy for new online and printed products. • Approachable senior staff members who are available for support and are happy to answer any questions or concerns. There were also mentor meeting arranged each month which were very helpful. • You’re always encouraged to learn new skills and challenge your existing skill set. For example, I was introduced to Microsoft Excel, digital marketing (PPC) and presentation skills in my first year. • Gift experiences at a discounted price. • Christmas and summer parties. • Lots of nice people.
Cons
• The call centre and main office used to be in different locations, which could feel a bit disjointed when talking on the phone etc. However the offices have since combined which makes communication easier and you can now put faces to names.
