Great work-life balance - Software Engineer Agathos Employee Review

The entire team was welcoming and friendly to work with and passionate about what they do. It felt more like working with a close knit family/friend group than a corporation. The fast paced environment always keeps you busy with new and interesting developments and creative challenges to work through.

Data driven tech companies and high paced startup environments are not for everyone.

A dynamic start-up environment full of smart as heck people who are sincerely passionate about making a true difference in how healthcare is delivered. Every single person is pulling their weight and then some. A great place to learn, grow, try on various professional hats in pursuit of a high value mission. Raising one's hand to take on a new challenge is always appreciated and rewarded. Writing as somebody who is in the middle/latter stages of one's career, this company has done a great job of providing people in various stages of their career a warm, growth oriented environment. Not something that is true for very many San Francisco born start-ups.

The pros mentioned above will likely be cons for some. If you are looking for a stable, predictable environment where everybody stays in their respective professional lanes with little to no overlap than Agathos might not be a great fit. There has to be at least some aspect of being comfortable with the unpredictable nature of working in a growth oriented start-up environment.
