Due to the size of the company, you can find different things to do within. You are likely to change paths and try different things.
Cons
Allstate is too conservative and old school. The systems are old and hard to replace as they were build with old technology in mind and the leaders are not willing to put the money to be innovative and competitive. Too much bureaucracy and inefficiency - There are too many Managers and very few people who do the work. Too many processes exist and get on the way of doing your job. Meetings are inefficient and it is hard to get a consistent decision fro leadership. Low salaries - Allstate does not compete on salary. Also, a position change does not mean your salary gets adjusted. If you change to a position where you should be making more, you don't get a raise. Viceversa, if you do something that pays less, you still get the higher pay.
