Pros

Above average benefits, premium product, incredible PTO. There is plenty of mobility if you're willing to move to their headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois. There are claims offices scattered throughout the country and I saw a few different employees move laterally to different offices which is kind of a cool option, too, but you're stuck in claims...

Cons

Just about everything else. Make sure you research the job role before embarking on a career in the claims department! It's a very difficult job emotionally--it is not just customer service, calls get personal quite often since the adjuster is the one making decisions that effect peoples lives dramatically.

Pros

Large Stable company, decent benefits, provide social gathering opportunities for remote employees.

Cons

Communication is not the best. from leadership down or between departments. Perception is valued higher then performance. Under stress people may turn hostile and the leadership is not equipped to address in well. In case of my manager some of the expectations were not reasonable.
