Pros

Even though it has gone through quite a bit of turmoil over the years, Alterian has had some great success stories. Tech as most others has had some challenges, which have been overcome. Mostly due to a lot of amazingly clever and intelligent people who have given it their heart and soul, and worked hard to build up the company. Long experience in MarTech space with impressive brands as long term clients. If led the right way there is a big opportunity regardless of the saturated market space.

Cons

Management was never able to truly run the global business, with immense potential at its fingertips. People have never been appreciated, nor the work many have put into building and growing the company over the years. Culture has dropped immensely, dare I say there is none at the moment. Acquisitions and divestment have had a massive impact on the business, causing many of the long term clients and partners question its stability and long term plan. Even though it's a global business with client base across the regions, the potential has never capitalised. Strategy and focus have changed every 6 months, branding, messaging, direction have all changed too often. There is an obvious 'boxed up' view of the world with little care for the legacy and know how. Communication is awful, decisions are being served rather then discussed involving experts in their respective fields etc. I would not advise anyone to join this company in the next year until there is a clearer view to how stable and future proof it really is.

Pros

I really enjoy working with the team and feel excited and passionate about the company's product and vision. With a global team, I often shift my work around to accommodate odd hours for meetings, but the flexibility and trust make maintaining a good work-life balance possible.

Cons

Working remotely with a global team has its challenges (scheduling, time delays on day-to-day collaboration, can feel isolated, infrequent travel to get together with the team in person).

Pros

Nothing. Just that I’ve kept up with a previous colleague and we wanted to post our reviews and save the time for any potential and future talent- to make sure it isn’t wasted and so they can apply it to a company they could have success and happiness with.

Cons

Everything. It’s got the rating it has for a reason. Read the reviews. You will be underpaid, treated like rubbish, and coming to work miserable, daily. They tell you there is work life balance but just like everything else they said, it was a lie.
