Pros
- Decent offices (SF is better) - Company outings and yearly retreat - Small shop, so lots of hand-raising if you want to branch out - Hard to be siloed - CEO & President are well-meaning and nice to work with - Pretty good work/life balance. Work stops around 5-6p and they are understandable with kids, etc
Cons
- Strong favoritism: if you're not liked as a person, you will be nit-picked going forward and on the chopping block for them to retain their margins - Toxic people retained in upper management and horrible cross-functional relationships - No forward movement with singular client keeping the lights on, and any wins are small and given to preferential account/creative leads - Near constant lay-offs (my estimate was ~30% employee turnover rate YoY)
