If you are looking for experience in the federal government, but are having a hard time breaking in this could be a good opportunity to add it to your resume and work to make connections from within. The job itself is extremely easy and most of the work could likely be accomplished by any entry level employee so work life balance is great.
Cons
APS contract is extremely limited in what they can do and the growth opportunities are non existent. The communication from management is purposefully confusing and unclear and there is little to no feedback given. There is no one on the contract that can provide mentorship. They only promote their favorites and policies are very inequitably enforced.
