Pros

Good pay and benefits, private healthcare, transport links to and from campus.

Cons

Favouritism within company/departments and cliquey if you don't "fit in". Make sure to book with the right doctors via private healthcare else you might not be taken seriously which can delay diagnosis/treatment, you may get fired. Job opportunities/promotions are only given if someone leaves and most likely gained through friends/family. Work goals can be unrealistic when staff numbers are low (due to firing).

Pros

The page is friendly to make an application.

Cons

As an experienced healthcare analytics and commercial leader, I applied to 104 U.S.-based positions at AstraZeneca between 2025 and 2026 that closely matched my background. Despite receiving interviews from peer organizations, I did not receive a single recruiter interaction. I fully understand the competitiveness of hiring, but such a complete lack of engagement raises questions about potential overreliance on AI screening or unintended bias.
