Pros

Ability to do remote visits helps meet days on site requirement

Cons

Gaslighting (withhold training information, then back track and tease CRAs and put them down for not knowing something that no one told them). * Bad company culture - CRAs and managers act like they are in a race to put down each other in front of other people and throw other people under the bus all the time for attention, including grown middle-age women who should know better by now. They assign CRAs 25 sites at a time, and they yell at them if they don’t have 8 visits/16 days on site per month, even though they claim their minimum is 8 days on site per month. Also, your sites will be located all across the country, so if you’re in the northwest, expect to have more than half of your sites in the southeast. No In house CRAs, you’ll be doing the job of about 5 people. They yell at you for not responding to emails while traveling.

Pros

The page is friendly to make an application.

Cons

As an experienced healthcare analytics and commercial leader, I applied to 104 U.S.-based positions at AstraZeneca between 2025 and 2026 that closely matched my background. Despite receiving interviews from peer organizations, I did not receive a single recruiter interaction. I fully understand the competitiveness of hiring, but such a complete lack of engagement raises questions about potential overreliance on AI screening or unintended bias.
