Pros
- Many talented, creative and great employees. A great bunch to hang around and work with. - Hybrid model but soon to revert back to WFO daily as the cash strapped company prefers spending money on additional rental space (current space is not enough for full staff strength) - Free lunch in office ordered by a front desk office manager (who is it this time? Doesn’t matter since whoever’s in this role is set to resign every 3 weeks) - Absolutely conducive workplace environment with the wifi breaking down every single day
Cons
- Predominantly mainland Chinese. Singaporeans are second class and 98% are Chinese. Finding an employee of another race (Malay/ Indian/ Caucasian) is pretty much a game of “where’s Wally?” - Definitely not for the faint of heart. Get ready to be thrown into the deep sea with no proper SOPs nor clear direction from management - Management is highly insecure whenever it comes to competition from other BNPL players - Trust the management at your own risk - Employees are rewarded not based on merit, but on who’s carrying the bosses’ balls. The most questionable individuals get trusted to lead the company (into a total mess) - just because.
