Only people based out of the regional offices can get ahead. Employees in other cities are on their own with little interaction from managers. Company hires too many technical resources then fires them when sales production is down. Company shifts financial failures to all employees by canceling social events and yearly bonuses without notice (found out I wasn't getting a bonus only because it was not on my paycheck when expected). They canceled holiday and summer events because the company is doing poorly. Total budget for both events was $5000.
For FY 2017 all employees got enrolled in the Jelly of the Month club (Movie Reference). Yearly reviews are based on the amount of money available for raises not actual performance. You could receive top reviews from all clients and managers, go above and beyond getting certifications and still get an achieves\meets review score because there is not enough money in the budget to give you the raise and bonus that comes with a higher score.
