5yWe recently announced that all US-based employee benefits and Paid Time Off (PTO) will move to Accenture’s plan, taking advantage of our partnership to extend richer benefits for our employees. For most these changes will be an improvement: better leave of absence policies & disability plans, more choice of healthcare providers & programs and we’ve doubled the 401k match for non-executives, to name a few. For some there will be an increase in premiums as we move from a family-based pricing policy to a per person based pricing model for medical coverage. Avanade will offset potentially higher premiums in year one with a subsidy for employees with two or more children. As an organization, we are committed to finding opportunities to improve our value proposition for our employees and I firmly believe these changes are positive for our US team members.
