Pros

The team was a great group, smart- hard working, down to earth and fun to work with. Pippin was a decent leader and brought out good results from his subordinates. Other management, terrible. If you want to wake up everyday fearing for your job, waiting to get yelled at or blamed, wonder why theres suddenly no work, talked about behind your back, fired on the spot for no reason (and not given a reason when asking why)... strange guy the CEO/owner is.. really poor leader, really poor at maintaining relationships with the partner insurance companies and clients... this company is really just his stinky turd and you are the flies swarming it... thats about the level of value and respect he shows for his employees. Your life is a joke to him, you matter 0. Avasek would have potential if it wasnt Daves stinky turd of a project. Peace!

You have a lot of autonomy, able to wear as many hats as you want and grow a new career.

Cons

Low pay. Lack of strong communication skills from founder, except after the fact when something has already went wrong.

Pros

There are really no pros... not even worth the paycheck

Cons

Everything? The company is currently going under, the IR department is literally a skeleton crew where everyone is scared on a daily basis of when the boogey man known as Dave is going to lose his mind and fire everyone. No work life balance. No incentives for traveling or pay. Having to check ADP in order to make sure the right taxes are being taken out and we aren't being shorted in our pay or PTO/Sick leave balances. No growth opportunities. CEO(boogey man Dave) not very transparent, he's a snake oil salesman who treats all his employees like trash then begs them to stay because he can't and won't do this by himself. Doesn't have the best interest of the company or his employees at heart. He is willing to cut corners, lie to a client and lie to the team in order to get more money for more work that in the end, due to his ego, we won't be getting.
