Pros
Strong technology, 300 lb gorilla in contact center space, customer base that is the envy of the industry, and an impressive track record over a long period of time to be one of the best innovators in the history of communications.
Cons
Extremely poor employee morale, at times it seems managment is making decisions off the cuff, and recognizing shortly afterwards the short sighted view. At the core of the mahem is our private ownerships goal to grow and maximize their return, or perhaps minimize the loss, since they paid a small ransom. The IPO and growth objectives, are in conflict with eachother, since the company has become extremely frugal in making decisions to invest for growth,or retain top talent. Employees are now not only being asked to leave as part of the streamlining process, but, now, also departing on their own as good opportunities with other companies become available. Finally, in order to keep SG&A low, and margins high, the company is seeking to leverage a partner channel that it is in constant conflict with over services, since in this industry, that is where the true long term wealth and profts are earned and retained.
