Pros

May meet nice colleagues, but all dependent on your luck. Birthday and anniversary leave.

Cons

If only zero could be given for rating, that is how bad this company is. The company would definitely squeeze you dry. From information gathered, it is very true the more competent one is, the greater the workload you have and you may not get appreciated for the effort and extra hours put in. They will only expect more. All the benefits that they provide are the most minimal it can get, do not expect more, from the minimum salary offered to avoid OT expenses for audit profession to the minimum number of leave days given as recommended by MOM. Pay for your own snacks at the vending machine. Guess one should be contented with the free flow of plain water and soda biscuits. Salary package is definitely not transparent and very unfair to those that are not locals. Most people joined because the HR processes the application VERY quickly and promptly. The higher management is just ridiculous and changes their policy as and when they see fit, without taking into concern their employees, which of course can be expected considering the higher management only does things that are beneficial to them. And that is just on the higher management. For managers, there are even those which will criticise you and get reprimanded as if you are worthless. The list continues on.

Pros

There actually are great people, but you play manager roulette.

Cons

BDO is notorious for promoting people who just never leave. The middle of the road, not great, not awful, people get promoted over and over again. There have been changes every 3 seconds since the ESOP. Terrible communication around change (non-existent). My manager's favorite term was "We are building the plane as we fly it". After 4 years, I was hoping to have more plane built. It was never built.
