Pros
Solid exposure to a variety of clients, situations, industries. Summers are generally relaxed.
Cons
First, compensation is given regardless of any and all metrics; hours billed, rating, complexity of client, etc. As long as you show up and don't mess up you'll get paid the same as everyone else in your class. The younger partners are extreme workaholics. The Chicago office has an excessive % of out-of-state clients.
