Pros

There was a time when working at BMC Canada meant something, we had some of the most talented & polished sales people. BMC Canada was known as a great place to build a solid career and you were treated with respect. Unfortunately over the past year, BMC Canada has instituted a boiler room approach to sales. Where at all costs reps must have 4x funnel and spend 3 days a month dialing for dollars in the office, while upper management stands over your shoulder driving for more and more garbage funnel & made up meetings. Since Canada has been split from the US last April 2017 we have seen almost a 40% attrition rate, the reps who are still here are quietly buying time to get payouts and find companies that will treat them like professionals. An opening for Regional Sales Manager that should have been filled by one of many strong internal candidates, was back filled externally. A very poor, but an accurate review was posted on glassdoor Nov 13th 2016, afterward, management gave out $100 gift cards to anyone who would write a positive review(s). Pros Recruiters still hold BMC sales professionals with somewhat high regard, allowing us to find better opportunities and jump ship

Cons

Cons Management could care less about the employees, they only care about the company going public again as they have been promised shares, reps will not get shares! Sales, Presales, Professional Services, Operations all have different agenda's, getting small tasks done takes tremendous effort Bribing reps with gift cards to post positive reviews on glassdoor.ca = Pathetic!

Pros

You are paid better than most other in the industry

Cons

Leadership high ups have no idea how to run a company ESPECIALLY the CEO. At this point I’m convinced it’s self sabotage because they actively choose to make the worst decisions quarter after quarter, FY after FY. They’ll also make sure you know how replaceable you are come March/April every year without hesitation no matter how well you perform.
