Pros

Extremely rewarding environment for technical people who can turn their software skills into products that help enterprise level companies succeed in business management.

Cons

Management is obsessed with nanomanagement (yes, even worse than micromanagement). They have managers spend all days investigating where an employee has not performed well. This is mostly their primary mission. I know this because I had to participate in their evaluations. Everything is kept as a secret and their HR team is 100% useless in making technical people and management work together. Directors hold grudges against anyone that offers any constructive criticism and then make your departure their primary mission no matter how beneficial you are to the bottom line. The culture there tries to present a happy and pleasant culture but most US based employees live in fear that their job will be handed over to someone in India or Mexico. Layoffs are weekly occurrence somewhere in the US office and almost always target technical employees. It's actually amazing that Peter L allows this to happen, but he probably does not even know that it is happening. Since only those who report to him directly are allowed to give feedback. You can do well there with the right manager who understands what your job is, but those managers don't last long and usually get kicked out by directors who see them as competition.

Life balance and culture is good. Management is okay.
