Pros
BMC provides the typical benefits of a large company: stable employment, possibility of internal career, wide range of perspectives and cultural backgrounds, presence in multiple sites worldwide, benefits. In addition, it is still relatively small and this allows a friendly and personal knowledge across teams and with management which makes life much enjoyable.
Cons
BMC presents some of the traits of large companies, you need to cope with some internal politics, it requires involvement with the internal company culture. The company is not fully oriented towards cloud for those that look for a startup-type position.
