They force you to go into the office and spend 20 hours a week in the office even if you are already booked and refuse to let you go to any other appointments. they don't give you insurance so while I was working there I had a terminal illness and did not know. Now they sent me a bill for $4, 000 is that they say are back so basically I work for them for 6 months so that I could owe them $4, 000. When I started at Transamerica they gave me a $1, 600 a week salary that I did not have to pay back. Pick a different insurance agency to work for because this company is a complete scam.

Pros

Bankers provides award winning training, an elaborate product portfolio and a rapidly growing market. I have 11 companies I can be appointed with - making sure my clients get the best program for what they NEED. A great opportunity to receive great training, work with great people and make a great living, all for helping people.

Cons

This opportunity is just that, an opportunity. Those who don't take advantage of it won't think it is a good one. Even successful people deal with a ton of rejection, thick skin is needed. With a 40% closing ratio, I still hear "No" more than "Yes".
