Pros
May meet some decent, sincere, and caring agents that are in the same boat as you. Your Branch Manager makes 30% of your sales, so your making them lots of money, and you get to split whats left of your comission 50/50 with who ever your training with that day!
Cons
No base salary, if you have to get licensed its going to cost about $400.00 for everything, No paid training, expect to make zero dollars in first three months, and very little if any for the first year. Work about 50 hours a week, some weekends, cold calling the same phone numbers repeativly to book your own appointments, and be pressured to call all your friends, relatives, anyone you know, to sell Insurance to. Drive around town on your own gas money and knock on peoples doors to try and book appointments. You can work your butt off and make nothing at all. But they will always tell you how much money you CAN make, and how rich they (managers) are from doing it. O yeah, and u have to split your comisssion with who ever you are partnered up with for the day.
