Pros

The Beck Family are wonderful people to work with, they give their employees Christmas presents and lots of other cool benefits. I rated their culture high on here primarily due to how the company itself expects their employees to act. The products are pretty good. Practical Farm Research is a great tool that the company has to help growers be more profitable.

Cons

Management away from Indiana is poor and loses a lot of the company culture, little room for growth within the company, not at all recommended for women looking to get into the seed industry, zero women in Agronomy roles or upper management roles and no assistance for maternity leave. The seed itself is rather expensive and it’s hard to keep customers on in times of economic distress.

Pros

It's impossible to get fired If you know the families you have a place for life

Cons

Technology department is a disaster Women aren't respected (they even have an ongoing harrassment case against them) Those who have been employed awhile hook arms and refuse any changes No work life balance New leadership came in at the beginning of the year and reactive attitudes made the culture even more toxic I left before it got worse; Good luck to those that stayed. No opportunity for growth
