Pros
- The people!
- The benefits
- The flexibility
For the last two years I have worked with the nicest people. Everyone has a common goal and no-one has a hidden agenda. Having transitioned between departments during the two years (therefore working with multiple teams), it's clear that we put a high price on personality and culture fit when we are recruiting. As a result it's made Blackhawk Network a genuinely lovely place to work.
The benefits we receive are fantastic - I am particularly grateful for the additional 'wedding leave' days I have received this year, in addition to a generous holiday allowance. The other perks I have taken advantage of are Techscheme and private health care.
The approach to flexible working is great. Role dependent, we are able to work in a way that fits us, including working from home and discretion around personal appointments.
Cons
The parking situation for the Apsley office is tricky, but manageable if you're organised...
