Pros
Located in Kings Cross, very easy for most employees to commute to and good choice of places for lunch.
Cons
- Indecisive management, lots of ideas but no commitment to see anything through. A lot of tasks get started but never get completed due to the CEO suggesting a different idea for employees to work on, rather than motivating the team to complete tasks.
- Despite being a small company, nothing ever gets signed off. There's projects that are in the CEO's hands which the team have completed, but he would rather discuss his personal life on the phone to his lawyer or wife than provide feedback.
- Linear hierarchy, CEO speaks to the operations team and developers appallingly. Witnessed him call someone "stupid and thick". I also witnessed him hang up during a conversation with the external IT manager and behaved incredibly unreasonable when his employees try to make suggestions or provide explanations to what he demands.
- CEO constantly micro-managing.
- Coming into the company, I asked simple things like "who do you speak to in your sales process, are they decision makers?" and none of the 6 employees and employer could provide an answer. They have no idea what is going on in their business or who their market is.
- CEO and certain members of the team like to point the finger than work together to figure out a solution.
- Their branding is all wrong, they have different names for the same product and are just as confused themselves.
