Pros

Working at this organization has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The supportive and collaborative environment created by my colleagues has made every day enjoyable and productive. The organization itself is well-structured and mission-driven, fostering a deep connection to its goals and values. One of the standout aspects is the robust support for professional development and career growth. There are numerous opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within the company, which has significantly contributed to my sense of belonging and commitment to the organization. Overall, the combination of great colleagues, a strong organizational mission, and ample development support makes this a fantastic place to build a career.

Cons

A potential con of working for a global organization is the complexity of navigating different cultural norms and communication styles. When working with global teams, employees may encounter varying expectations and practices, which can sometimes lead to misunderstandings or challenges in collaboration. Adapting to diverse work cultures requires sensitivity and flexibility, and it may take time to build effective working relationships across different regions.

Pros

Good pay. Good benefits. My coworkers who were at the same level as me were supportive.

Cons

Work environment was highly stressful and often unsustainable. Management created a culture where employees were frequently overworked, undervalued, and burned out. Communication from leadership was inconsistent and their expectations changed frequently. Work-life balance was very poor. Employee concerns did not get taken seriously unless they directly impacted company performance. When an HR compliant involving my supervisor was filed for his behavior with input from the majority of the team members, no meaningful action was taken beyond stating it was handled "per BSC policy". Opportunities for promotion and career advancement were limited. Employees who treated others poorly were often still rewarded or praised as long as performance metrics were met. There was a clear culture of favoritism and hierarchy, and employees outside of those circles could work above and beyond expectations without receiving recognition or advancement opportunities. In 2 years, there were 12 employees who were fired in a 10 person department.
