Pros

Product team is solid/functional and making cool things, led by CTO

Cons

CEO- Micromanager. Direct manager of everyone non-engineering, no teams exist, no other leadership exists. Every decision down to small details must be approved by CEO. Feedback is consistently negative. No ability to give feedback up. Culture- Very heirarchical, non-transparent. Must go through CEO for any information. Low salary/comp/benefits for market: Salary under market by $30-50K per role ( which they get around by hiring internationally/ relocating people) Benefits are basic/no extras, 10 days vaca and health. No equity. Employees are generally afraid to talk to mgmt, and afraid they'll be fired if they speak up, which happens often.

Pros

As an engineer, I really appreciate the culture here. There’s a strong emphasis on collaboration without micromanagement, and people genuinely care about building quality software. The team is sharp, helpful, and low-ego—which makes solving problems together actually enjoyable. From a product standpoint, we’re growing fast and iterating constantly. It’s exciting to work on something that’s scaling quickly and getting real traction. There’s plenty of technical challenge, but also a good balance between speed and stability. Overall, it’s a place where engineering is respected, the roadmap is clear, and the people make it fun to log in every day.

Cons

Because we’re a small team, communication is very direct and straightforward—there’s no sugarcoating. This means you get clear, honest feedback quickly, which is great if you appreciate transparency and want to move fast. It’s a good fit if you like cutting through the noise and addressing issues head-on.
