Pros
The offices are generally nice with drinks and snacks available. Parking is not paid but there is a pre-tax match to help offset the cost. Generally, the people that you work with all understand that you’re in it together and everyone is dealing with the same environment so you can commiserate with others. The product is still generally a leader in the space though it’s the high priced product in the industry now.
Cons
It’s hard to list all of the issues. - Micromanagement is by design with unreasonable expectations for seeing results. - Sales management does not give autonomy so limited growth and development selling skills. - No 401k match - PTO generally low for what is typically offered but the expectation is you’re still going to do work when you’re on PTO. - Company holidays seem to only exist on paper since work is still expected when the office should have been closed. - Too many people that were good at their jobs have been leaving recently so it only gets worse for those that remain. - Forced RTO environment with low pay for the industry. - Promotion paths either don’t exist are aren’t reasonably attainable. - Management strategy seems to instill as much fear as possible in the team.
