Pros

Great immediate colleagues, visit the world, mediocre staff travel, some very short days and late starts and early finishes etc, 10+ days off a month.

Cons

The management team that look after the crew community are very much robotic in their responses to individual circumstances. They show no compassion, no sympathy, no empathy. Fear culture when it comes to calling sick. Crew are often spoken to rudely by duty crew managers as well as crew control. Also just little respect shown in general to the crew community from the company. If anything goes wrong such as rosters being delayed. No one will email and apologise until earliest the next day and most often it won’t include an apology, just an explanation. Continuously upgrade pax when not enough crew has been provided etc. it’s these little things where there is no processes in place because they simply don’t care about the crew. If they did, there would be a process. But the small things continuously happening does become a very big thing eventually.
