Pros
Not much. Environment was healthcare and everyone was in it for themselves. If you're a new grad and you meet the right people or contacts you have a chance to move up.
Cons
Unless you're tall and white you aren't looked at highly - pun intended. Horrible environment. Everyone is selfish. Even if you work hard you're never given a raise. Directors have incentive to keep you down. They are there so they can report good numbers so they can get promoted. My director didn't even do my review - he took feedback verbatim and anything that anyone said that was perceived as negative was used against me. All the positive and good work I did was promptly ignored. That director today? He moved up to senior VP and now is a a high level exec somewhere else.
