Would have been a better place to work if they could get out their own way. - Staff Writer CNET Employee Review

Pros

The people drawn to CNET were ambitious, dedicated, competent, interesting and fun. The environment calls for change and allows for the testing of new ideas in a near "anything goes as long as it works and brings people back" manner.

Cons

Management is all over the place. It's difficult to understand what the higher ups are talking about sometimes and they have a tendency to rewrite history.

Pros

- The people at CNET are some of the kindest and smartest I've ever worked with - Opportunity to grow/carve your own career path, as long as you're willing to put in the work - Team members at all levels are encouraged to have a voice and contribute to the bigger picture

Cons

- Change is constant and can get exhausting - Can be disorganized/all over the place (but I will say has made strides in this area over the years) - Significant workload, especially during certain times of year (September around Apple Announcement, Holiday/Q4) - if you don't like jobs that keep you busy then this is probably not the company for you
