Pros
I worked at CPI for about a year as an Account Manager. The only reason why I had to leave was because my fiance got a new job out of town, otherwise I would still be at CPI. It has been my favorite job thus far, and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking to grow both professionally and personally. To start, the company culture is amazing. It has the focus of a classic company structure mixed with the ambition and fun of a start up. The management team provides company outings each quarter for all of the employees and their families/significant others - bowling, movie night, go kart racing. It was a really great way for the different teams to build relationships as a group. I am not on the tech side of things, but I know that they do team building as well with paint balling and pizza outings together when they perform well. All of the leaders throughout the company are fantastic as well. Not only are they all top tier in their respective fields, they are proponents of a collaborative atmosphere as well. If I ever needed to get an immediate new angle on a sales perspective and our VP of Sales was out on appointments, I was able to approach any of the other VP's or Directors for their opinions. I felt empowered as an employee to be creative with my day to day agenda as well as structured enough to have defined goals. All in all, I am parting on very good terms with this company. When the time came for me to open the next chapter of my life, they were supportive and helpful. The people are great, they treat their clients great, they treat the employees great, and they all believe in the company mission.
Cons
It is not a micro managed atmosphere - although everyone is there to help if you need it, you should be able to function independently. Not a con for me, but maybe for some.
