Pros

Working here has been one of the most intrinsically motivating professional experiences I’ve had. The work itself feels meaningful, and there’s a strong sense that what we do actually matters—not just in outcomes, but in how we get there. What sets this organization apart is its truly egalitarian approach to leadership. Ideas are welcomed from every level, and decision‑making isn’t top‑down—it’s collaborative, thoughtful, and genuinely inclusive. People are trusted to bring their perspective, and that trust shows up in the quality of our work. There’s also a consistent commitment to human‑centered decision making. Whether we’re thinking about customers, staff, or partners, the focus stays on real people and real experiences—not just metrics or processes. It’s rare to find a workplace where you feel both challenged and supported, and where the culture aligns so clearly with the work. I’m proud to be part of a team that leads with intention and integrity.

Cons

Compensation can be lower compared to similar roles in the private sector. Additionally, as much of the work is tied to government funding, there is some uncertainty around long‑term stability and contract continuity.

Pros

Amazing culture and leadership! Best part is working with the customers and community partners.

Cons

Pay does not move as fast as the outside industry. But your in it for the heart.
