Pros

Pay is competitive and if your are willing to move and have a life centered around work then Cargill is the right place for you!

Cons

Lack of management and organization, along with salary employees moving to different locations every couple of years creates for an unstable and unhealthy work environment at the plant level. Plant level management is focused on advancing their careers and not the daily operation or people at their locations. There is no respect for the workers who are out in the field, creating disengaged workforces. I have experience with several locations with different Business Entities and had the very similar experiences.

Pros

Management is very professional, They are responsive to complaints and do not micromanage. Allow you to grow and take care of things you need to without much oversight. Fellow Employees are helpful with training and covering shifts when needed. Overall everyone seems to care about the work and each other. When things are running well, the job itself is not too stressful.

Cons

Can be on night shift Starting out until there are openings on Day shift. Dusty environment, dangerous work with highly combustible Liquids. When equipment has issues, it can be very taxing.
