I worked at Carluccio’s Manchester Piccadilly for a little over a week and left after experiencing consistent poor treatment, awful communication, and constant negative energy from management. Training was basically non-existent, they threw me into the role with contradictory instructions, then blamed me for every mistake like it was my fault. Even got accused of stealing a can opener that went missing before they even taught me how to make any drinks. The workplace felt draining daily, with managers flip-flopping on expectations and creating unnecessary stress that killed any motivation to stay. This isn’t a place that supports growth or treats staff with basic respect, it’s chaotic and demotivating.
