Pros

As Caxton like to shout about, you can tell people you work in the Gherkin

Cons

Culture that it's acceptable to rip customers off to hit targets, employees are treated and spoken to like school children (and publicly shamed anytime a minor mistake is made). There's no trust from the leadership and no empowerment, even for Senior Managers, and as a result no-one wants to work there (hence the extremely high staff turnover and high number of people heading for the exits). Except for a few good people, it's a pretty miserable place to work. If you dream of going back to the 1980's then you may like it as there's not a laptop / mobile device in sight (ironic for a "FinTech") and flexible working is a taboo subject. And if you merely suggest ways to improve the culture, you'll be straight into the bad books. Little in the way of IT / product development ever takes place. Please don't make the same mistake I did - stay away!

Pros

Great, friendly co-workers. Good central location, and often interesting work in global trade. The office really closes by 5:30, and there aren't really any late nights.

Cons

Poor compensation for the financial field, leading to high turnover. Upper management is unhelpful and often unreasonable.
