Pros

Gained sales skills, made some great friends with the fellow concierge

Cons

I never felt fully trusted by my manage They play favorites, if you don't do everything by the books and the way they want everything to be done, don't expect any opportunities for growth They will test your loyalty to the company constantly and leaving for another job is seen as the ultimate sin. They are nosey about why you're leaving and where you're going. They don't understand that people want the opportunity for growth and even when new opportunities are promised to you, they rarely follow through. Management is not on site with you and they claim to always be available however, they would take days to answer my emails and would only occasionally answer phone calls or call back. Horrible benefits, hardly any PTO and when I requested vacation, it would get denied or they would make me change my vacations to accommodate their needs. If I called out sick, management would make me feel bad about it. The company was all about making money and not ensuring their employees were happy to keep them around. This place is a revolving door, many people leave after just a few months. Most people make it just over a year before leaving.

We are sorry to hear your employment with us was not a positive experience but we do appreciate your feedback. We work hard to create a culture where employees feel trusted and appreciated. As with any company, policies and procedures have to be in place and employees are expected to adhere to them. There are very few vacation requests that we have to deny but due to the nature of our organization, we do have to provide coverage during employee absences. We do our best to accommodate all requests and are working on a new system to make coverage easier. We understand that this position is not for everyone but are proud to have many employees, past and present, who have succeed and grown with the company.

Pros

Simpli, hands down, has been such an awesome company to work for where everyone from top to bottom is approachable, kind, and caring. I highly recommend working here and here’s why: I’ve been in the workforce for about 17 years - this wasn’t my first job, not even my second, so I know what it’s like out there. I’ve worked in businesses where it was ownership versus employees. I’ve also worked in a business where upper management and the team worked in harmony due to transparency, communication, and being able to overcome challenges and hardships together. Simpli is the latter and continues to create that family atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, heard, and valued. As an experience manager, you have an opportunity to building relationships with your team and your clients. You have full support on the backend as you fulfill client request which consists of several fun events (think ice cream socials, employee gifting, wellness workshops) while maintaining an exciting and enhanced work experience to the everyday worker. Your whole goal is literally to help make someone’s day. In terms of growth, you do get recognized if you show initiative and if you’re great at communicating internally and externally. This effort doesn’t go unnoticed and upper management loves promoting from within. In regards to diversity, Simpli is very diverse! I should know…and that’s always the first thing I look for. I currently work for Simpli and I continue to have a positive experience. As for the past negative reviews…that’s up to you. Some of those were during the height of the pandemic where it was a heart wrenching time for businesses and their employees. I’d also take into consideration that as a society, we are more inclined to leave a bad review than a positive one. And lastly, every company goes through highs and lows - what matters is if a company evolves…and that is exactly what is happening here.

Cons

I honestly don’t have any cons. You’ll experience growing pains when first starting out, but that’s with every job. Some days may feel more challenging than others, but that’s just how it is in general. I haven’t experienced a time where I ever thought about leaving.

Pros

There were absolutely no pros working here

Cons

This company ran me to the ground and drained me to the core. This company overworked me, used me, abused me, then discarded me when they were done. This company will send you to client site with no support, and no forewarning of what is going on with the clients. The clients will be toxic, demanding and condescending and Simpli will know this and still send you there. I could not even put on PTo for a MENTAL HEALTH break (which I specifically told them I needed). They will call you all hours of the day to come an and pick up shifts as well even if you are already working a full shift at another site, they don’t even care to THINK how much burnout that will cause! There is also no room for growth and they pay you poorly.
