Pros

Families Branding & Image - which they do not live up to Wholesome meals Ateliers

Cons

~ Teacher turnover is deterministic in lowering the quality of care and the capacity to bond with coworkers/children/families. Burned out longtimers squelch any newcomer enthusiasm. Add an unsanitary environment (= get sick from flu/viruses). Top it off with a meager benefits package and you have bedraggled caretakers rotating through. ~ Pitiful pay ~ “Childroots Way” comes off as cultish, although some good ECE tools are part of their trainings. ~ Teacher scheduling is not sustainable - required trainings on PTO days. ~ No real ECE trajectory for the children or career path for teachers.

Pros

Good starting wages Great benefits and 31 paid days off + accrued PTO and UTO.

Cons

Group care can be challenging and getting sick being around children all day is real.

Pros

Top of the market starting pay, generous PTO plus 30+ closure days

Cons

Sometimes chaotic, but that is the nature of the job. The culture was better before a vocal minority pushed for unionization. The union is not what it was chalked to be. Time will tell.
