Pros

Allows you to work independently and create a work-life balance.

Cons

Management is practically non-existent during the first critical days of employment, and if you want any training, you need to seek it out because there is no structured training except what you're able to scrape up yourself from other employees during their spare time. There is a huge time crunch placed on all employees which negatively impacts a team environment at the onset of employment with Cielo. In addition to that, I was promised to be placed in a full time capacity after 90 days of employment which would include full benefits, but instead I was placed with two completely different companies doing two completely different roles for two completely different types of clients - both as a part time employee at 20 hours per week. I was expected to work for health facility in the mornings, and then for a television cable company in the afternoons. It was very hectic, and unfulfilling.

Thanks for sharing about your time with Cielo and for sharing constructive advice with our management team. With the extreme growth Cielo has experienced over the past couple of years, we're taking time this year, and going forward, to focus on training and leadership development - the concerns you mentioned above will be addressed in both initiatives. We’re disappointed that your experience with us was not as you hoped and wish you the best in your career.

Pros

well established clients. Interesting projects; friendly coworkers

Cons

No bonus, no merit increase pay out over the last 4 years. They say they want to strenghten their customer relationships and allocate more to AI but this is the worst way to do it. If your team went above and beyond and secured continuing business the bare minimum is a small merit increase. Growth opportunities for high performing employees will bring you more business. There is nothing to look forward to aside from a paycheck and contract renewal every 6 months.
