If you've never worked a remote position before it really might not be for you. Do your research and ask the right questions. Some things to think about: if you or your leader are remote you get to have very little interaction with them and the chance to build a personal relationship as every is very busy. You rarely get to be in conversations between the client and leadership so you risk be misrepresented with little opportunity to stick up for yourself. It is a "your word against theirs" mentality and keep in mind that they are going to always side with the client to keep them happy and keep the contract. The company tends to be very dog eat dog and everyone has to watch their own butt but again, that is just part of this thype of remote work and structure and it may or may not be for you.
