Pros
City Beach gave me a decent introduction to buying and retail, and I did learn a lot in a short time. The people you work with are absolutely amazing and it’s a good stepping stone for those early in their fashion or buying careers, especially if you’re looking to gain hands on experience within the industry.
Cons
Career progression felt slow and somewhat unclear and it sometimes felt like hard work went unnoticed. The pay was also below industry average, especially for the level of responsibility involved. Feedback from leadership wasn’t always consistent or constructive either.
