Pros
Nothing besides getting a paycheck
Cons
I'm just going to jump straight to the point. This is an extremely toxic work environment and it will shatter your mental health. Trust me, I know from experience. There is very little/to no room for growth within, let alone the possibility to manage your own projects. The owner micromanages every little detail along the way and the training… forget it. You receive one or two days and then you’re on your own to figure things out. Everything about this company is misleading, and most things you actually do aren’t listed in the job description; ex: the weekly grocery shopping or refilling water throughout the day, midday snacks, etc. .…and the benefits offered are absolutely terrible! No 401K, the PTO policy is complete garbage, and the Health Insurance is extremely pricey for the plans that they offer. The owner only hires young white women, which I’m assuming is because it allows him to feel in control. It’s truly disgusting - but also shows that he has sexist views. Not to mention he’s arrogant and condescending. I mean, who puts "Open toed shoes are allowed but a pedicure is required" in the company handbook?! Lastly…owner and his wife DO NOT follow the CDC guidelines regarding Covid. Staff was expected to sit in empty offices in hopes members would come in during a lockdown and wipe surfaces multiple times daily. After members reported positive cases to staff, the owner wouldn’t shut down OR have the offices professionally disinfected. Masks weren't even required to be worn within the office. And heads up, those "5-star" reviews are from current employees because they're forced to post them to make the company seem better.
