Pros
The location that I worked at was new and right across the street from a sports stadium. I got to meet a lot of cool people and had a lot of cool experiences from that.
Cons
Hours and salary is terrible. Where I worked, you had to fight for the full 40 hours. When you work at Marriott, 32 hours a week is considered full time and they do not compensate for the other 8 hours if they aren’t able to schedule you. Management where I worked took advantage of their employees and gave us several “hats” to wear with no compensation. I was at $16/hour for the entire year that I worked for them. Not enough to survive.
