Good pay and relationships, but leadership issues persist - Sr Technical Analyst Cox Communications Employee Review

Pros

Good relationships between entities, lots of cross division work. Good pay, bonuses, remote/hybrid work.

Cons

Leadership. Leadership change during re-orgs have killed any professional aspects of the corporate styles. Work load. No longer autonomous. No promotions, you must move lateral to other departments to get promotion (so no promotion if you like what you do).

Hi, thank you for sharing a review! We're glad to know that you enjoy the flexibility, work-life balance and employee benefits that a career at Cox offers, and that you would recommend Cox as an employer. Cox's footprint and cross-industry impact do frequently necessitate agility with change, but we strive to offer a workplace experience that has the stability of a large company with the friendly community and innovation culture of a startup. And while our impact continues to grow, our values and mission remain the same: across our family of businesses, we're building a better future. We hope you feel that to be the case.

Pros

Learned alot with 20+ years with the company, fun place to work, meet great people, Awesome pay.

Cons

Management will throw you under the bus to save themselves, will not stick up for employees, supervisor yelling at team meetings, slamming things around and acting childish. Best micromanager out there.
