Pros

You will be given 2 consecutive days off that will stay the same for a little over 3 months depending on company needs. They then change to give everyone a chance to have weekends off. You will be assigned a shift and it will remain the same, although you may ask to change to another shift. It may take a while before you change shifts as you join a waiting list, and it depends on what the company needs. The friendly coworkers and caring management make for a great work environment and there are always opportunities for advancement and all training is paid for (they have an awesome, caring, and patient training department). The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing that you are making a difference and possibly end up saving a life every day. I am grateful for my managers and how dedicated they are to make sure everyone is successful. During the COVID pandemic I did not have to worry about my job and the company went out of their way to make sure that everyone was safe and allowed them to work from home. Since then, they offer Hybrid positions and only require employees to come into the office once a week to work.

Cons

The hardest part of the job is keeping up to date with all memos and procedures. Another con would be the 15-minute paid breaks for each 4 hours as opposed to a 30-minute unpaid lunch break (although, it does allow me to get out 30 minutes earlier for the day than if I had the lunch break) During peak seasons overtime can become overwhelming but manageable as they only require 8 hour a week (that being stated, it's definitely helpful when it comes to paying your bills.)

Pros

Great training, transparency regarding benefits and what type of work that will be conducted, and relatively easy work once you are comfortable in your position.

Cons

Script adherence is too strict, repetitive tasks can become mundane, loss of passion overtime if career growth is stunted.
