Pros

- Competitive compensation package - Cummins is a terrific corporate citizen - Workforce diversity is preached AND practiced - Great training opportunities and potential for advancement (with the right manager) - I was fortunate to work with terrific, dedicated people

Cons

- IT function is continually re-organizing and priorities (and therefore funding) change too often - Emphasis on Six Sigma projects and "belting" is over-the-top - Processes often stifle productivity - need a better balance between process and "just do it" - Job rotations are strongly encouraged, but too often not well-planned; after someone transfers to a new position, back-fills can take months or never happen due to RIFs

Work from home, flexibility, paternal leave policy, pension plan

Cons

Pay is low and has not kept up with inflation. Leadership is only DEI hires, and they do not seem to understand the actual work being done. They are making life miserable for employees by adding unnecessary KPI's and performance tracking to make a name for themselves within the senior leadership. No loyalty for employees, they will let you go in the blink of an eye if the business struggles.
