Pros

Pay is okay, but nothing special. Located in Burlington MA, maybe thats a pro, besides that there are no upsides, do not work here.

Cons

Management is awful, the company has put people in management positions that should never been put there. On top of that, you will not be properly trained or supported to do your job correctly, this will set you up for failure right at the start. The employees are cold and miserable, very difficult not just to work with, but to get along with in general. As a new employee I never felt welcomed or appreciated, new ideas are shunned and people expect you to fall in line and work in a silo. This is not a place for career growth, this is not a place where you will enjoy your work, this is not a place where you will be put in a position to succeed. CustomerGauge strongly lacks an inclusive and enjoyable culture to help encourage employees to always give their best, instead, uniqueness, enthusiasm, and any type of "fun" is discourage. On top of all this, the product is very poorly put together making it very difficult to properly support customers in the back end, often lacking the functionality that customers initially signed up for

CustomerGauge Response

Thank you for taking the time to write the review and I’m sorry that you had a bad experience at CustomerGauge. However, I don’t believe your experience is the norm - we do take employee feedback very seriously and we now have a quarterly eNPS survey - we share the score and the themes with all staff. Our latest eNPS (employee Net Promoter Score) is in the 40 - 50 range. While we know we can always improve we believe that culture and and amicable, fair work environment is part of our DNA. Fun is always a difficult issue to get right. What one person finds fun another can find tiresome. We strive to find the balance. Regarding the product comment, this is at odds with the reality. Of course it’s possible to point out weaknesses in any SaaS product, but we strive for a very good customer experience. We benchmark this with our high customer retention rate, and high NPS. We are very transparent with our score - and publish our NPS score along with customer reviews on our public website. And we listen to our customers carefully, in regular meetings, advisory boards and in our online community. Again, sorry it didn’t work out for you in CustomerGauge, and I wish you the best in your future career.

Pros

Work environment is non-corporate, but in a good way. Some of the best people I've worked with.

Cons

Some motions lack process, but that's half the fun at working at a company of this size, there's opportunity to make things better.

Pros

I worked at CustomerGauge (Burlington, MA) for about a year and a half and I can confidently state that there couldn’t have been a better start to my career than this! I was always surrounded with a team of truly passionate and incredibly hardworking individuals who really love what they do and who have always encouraged me to be better each day. I’ve found true mentors during my experience at CG who have had a genuine interest in my personal and professional growth. Culture is taken seriously at CG - there are regular eNPS sessions held and improving employee experience is one of the top priorities for the leadership team. The culture at CG allows hard work to get noticed and appreciated and also empower employees to be able to do things differently without having the fear of failure. The product and services that CG offers are built on solid foundations and there is an ever growing need in the market for a product like CG. I believe CustomerGauge is on its way to achieve massive success and is on the verge of entering a super-growth phase! I feel proud to have been a part of CG’s growth journey and I can’t wait to watch it grow even more to greater heights!

Cons

“Fail fast, Optimise and Get-Going” is the mantra you have to live by if you are working at a rapidly growing start-up like CustomerGauge. It’s not easy but at the same time is highly rewarding in terms of career growth and job satisfaction.
