-employees are overworked and compensated poorly. the printshop workers are mostly immigrants and paid around minimum wage for their labour. most ft office people are either new grads or have a spouse to support them -managers demand workers constantly be working when not on break. -poor working conditions. all the computers, desks, office supplies are old and grimy. they had a bug infestation and only cleaned up when they were selling the company -the order processing procedures change almost every week. instead of upgrading the system to accommodate for this, they expect employees to remember on their own. if you forget or make a mistake, the managers WILL call you out on it. -there's a high turnover rate in the company, and people aren't being replaced which means more work for everyone else
