Pros

Absolutely nothing. Worst experience of my career. It is a miserable company to work for, especially in the field.

Cons

Executive management is a incompetent. Money motivated leaders with no dental experience and little to no focus on quality patient care. This is a dental mill company and terrible culture. Turn over is crippling. Desperation is the company culture. Office leaders work ridiculous hours and are overworked. Everyone is asked to do more with less. Doctors and hygienist aren't appreciated. Employees are frustrated. Pay increases are a joke. Benefits are hideous and too expensive. Human resources doesn't care about employees or stand up for them. Lay offs are happening at the Cleveland home office. People are so unhappy. This is an absolutely awful company. No wonder people quit and the company is loosing money.

DentalOne Partners Response

Admittedly, it would be more satisfying to see some positive commentary included in your review, but with any feedback there are things that can be learned - in that respect, I thank you for offering your insight. The experience you describe is vastly different from the employees with whom I've encountered, hopefully I can offer some information that addresses a few of your concerns. The executive team, led by CEO Tom Marler, possesses decades of experience in the dental industry and they bring operational and clinical expertise that rivals any company in the healthcare arena. True, we have lofty goals, but those goals are reasonable (and reachable) when you consider the number of talented professionals in the supported practices and home office. While DentalOne Partners is continuing to grow and expand into new markets, we will not do so at the expense of patient care. As an example, the "Patient Satisfaction Alert" empowers anyone in DentalOne's supported practices the ability to "pull the chain" and alert the highest levels of senior management should they become aware of a patient complaint. These alerts are taken seriously and given the utmost priority. Also, it is true that the Cleveland HQ and Dallas HQ are consolidating - this process has been in motion for several months and I am happy to see many of the former "Clevelanders" in new offices here in Dallas. Even better, the entire Dallas crew will be moving up the road to a new location in Legacy Tower, one of the premier locations in DFW. These are two examples of DentalOne modeling the "Me Becomes We" culture that emphasizes the focus on "team" and community; I hope (as I see you are still an active employee) you will give this some consideration in your own experience. You are also invited take the opportunity to contact me directly with any further questions or comments, I want your work experience to be a joyful one! Kindest regards, John Whitaker, VP-Talent Acquisition john.whitaker@dentalpartners.com
