Pros

Well, my paycheck has cleared so far...

Cons

Need to be cautious around this place. I've seen several instances of shady business practice, deceit or straight up lies. The "CEO" is hardly existent, has addictions that need to be addressed, and is aggressively litigious to his customers and employees past and present. I've seen baseless lawsuits filed just so he can be vindictive. Some of the personalities here are downright insulting, but it's overlooked because the company has had incredible turnover and they for some reason stuck it out. Since we're talking of turnover, if you're thinking about joining the company, take a look at all of the people who have worked there and their average tenure for the past several years. This should be telling in and of itself As in the title, there's a lot of bait and switch. Growing company, care about careers, great product, etc. It's all a sham. You'll realize this when no one answers questions directly and with any objective facts. I'm uncertain how this company is still in operation as the customers have dropped dramatically and the only thing growing is the amount of blame and negativity. It is probably why it's run excessively cheap. Who knows if checks will clear in a few months.

Thank you for your review. DoubleHorn is currently undergoing some exciting changes across branding and innovation. As a result, hiring is on the rise and landscape changes are happening. We do understand that with new initiatives, change happens and some employees do not support the new direction or feel out of the loop. We share our individual and corporate initiatives bi-monthly along with other transparent exercises to support our growth and learning processes. These acts will help keep our vision and direction clear as we move forward. Our Administration, Financial, Network Operations and Engineering Team members range roughly from one year to eight years in tenure. Our Product Development Team ranges from one to three years. Due to innovation and bringing new initiatives to life, we will be hiring new talent to address growth needs. In addition, we will be making announcements soon regarding key leadership roles. The future for DoubleHorn is bright!

Pros

In the time I've been at DoubleHorn, I've seen many changes occur. Why? The CEO has a vision and is continually building out his team and developing the suite of products to be cutting edge and set an industry standard. This is not the place to accept a role if your plan is to mindlessly work and have leads or marketing material handed to you. Team members play an integral part in shaping the direction of the products, the sales cycle and culture of the company. DoubleHorn is a true startup, and operates like one. Change is not a scary word here, and usually indicates something bigger and better around the corner. There are many companies where you can come in, sit down and do the bare minimum for years with no one bothering you. DH is the opposite of that because every team member is valued, and ideas pitched from any team (marketing, sales) are regularly heard by the CEO and if there is value there, the ideas will be developed out. This is a place to work at if you're passionate about tech and value creating your own identity in the workplace. You also have to get on board with the entrepreneurial vision of the leaders of the company because things will pivot from time to time, but with those changes come opportunity. With the trust that management gives you to operate, you're able to work in the sweet spot of productivity between being micromanaged and being ignored.

Cons

Past dissension among teams means there are some bridges to be rebuilt in terms of inter-team relations but steps are being taken to improve these lines of communication.
